Store Policies
These policies apply to all orders placed with LaserSafe ANZ Limited. They are written in plain English and follow New Zealand law (Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, Fair Trading Act 1986, Privacy Act 2020).
Shipping
Shipping is calculated at checkout based on your delivery address, so the price you see at checkout is the price you pay. In-stock items ship within 1–2 business days of order confirmation; rural addresses may take 1–2 extra business days. Quote-only / made-to-order items (viewing windows, curtains, barriers, enclosures, and made-to-order eyewear) are confirmed separately by email with a specific lead time before payment is finalised. We currently ship within New Zealand only — contact us for a one-off quote to Australia in the meantime. A tracking link is emailed as soon as your order is dispatched. If your order arrives damaged or does not arrive within the estimated window, contact sales@lasersafeanz.com with your order number and we will investigate with the courier and arrange a replacement or refund as appropriate.
Returns & Refunds
This policy reflects your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, which cannot be excluded and apply regardless of anything else on this page. Outside of those rights, we do not offer change-of-mind returns or refunds — please check product descriptions (wavelength, OD, standard) carefully before ordering, and contact us first if you are unsure whether a product suits your device.
No change-of-mind returns. Given these are safety-rated products matched to a specific laser wavelength, we ask that you confirm the correct model before purchase. Contact sales@lasersafeanz.com if you need help matching a product to your device.
Hygiene items. Patient/client eyewear (e.g. LP-PAT-S) and any item that contacts skin cannot be returned once opened, for hygiene reasons, except in the case of a genuine fault.
Faulty or incorrect items. If you receive the wrong item, or a product is faulty on arrival, we cover return shipping and will send a replacement or refund once confirmed. Contact us with your order number and a photo of the issue.
Quote-only / made-to-order items. Custom containment products (windows, curtains, barriers, enclosures) are built or sourced to your specification and are non-refundable once production or ordering has begun, except where faulty. This is confirmed with you in writing before you pay.
Privacy
LaserSafe ANZ Limited ("we", "us") respects your privacy and handles personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020 (New Zealand).
What we collect: contact details (name, email, phone, delivery address) provided at checkout; order history and payment confirmation (we do not store full card numbers — payment is processed securely by our payment provider); and basic website usage data via standard Shopify/analytics cookies.
How we use it: to process and deliver your order, respond to enquiries and provide support, and send order updates (and, only with your separate consent, occasional product news).
Who we share it with: our courier partners (solely to deliver your order) and our payment processor (solely to process payment). We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties.
Your rights: under the Privacy Act 2020 you can request access to, or correction of, the personal information we hold about you. Contact sales@lasersafeanz.com to make a request. We retain order information as required for accounting and tax purposes, held in Shopify's secure, encrypted infrastructure.
Terms of Service
This website is operated by LaserSafe ANZ Limited, a company registered in New Zealand. By using this website or placing an order, you agree to these terms.
Products & descriptions. We make reasonable efforts to describe products accurately, including wavelength range, optical density (OD) and applicable standard (EN207/EN208 for laser eyewear, ISO 12609 for IPL eyewear, EN12254 for windows, curtains and barriers, and AS/NZS IEC 60825.1 for laser classification). It is the buyer's responsibility to confirm that the specific product selected is rated for the specific laser or IPL device in use before purchase. If in doubt, contact us before ordering.
Not medical devices. None of the products sold on this website are medical devices. They are personal protective equipment (PPE) intended to reduce the risk of accidental laser/IPL exposure to the eyes and skin. They are not a substitute for proper training, safe operating procedures, or compliance with your obligations under the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 and the safe-use requirements for Class 3B and Class 4 lasers classified under AS/NZS IEC 60825.1.
Pricing & payment. All prices are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and include GST where applicable. Quote-only items are priced individually and confirmed in writing before payment is taken.
Order acceptance. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order (for example, in the case of a pricing error or stock unavailability), in which case any payment taken will be refunded in full.
Limitation of liability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, LaserSafe ANZ Limited's liability for any claim arising from the use of a product purchased on this site is limited to the purchase price of that product, except where liability cannot be excluded under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or Fair Trading Act 1986.
Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand.
